YT Video Downloader
not working?

Find the message you see, understand what it means, and choose the next step.

If you see “Please enter a valid YouTube video or Shorts link,” paste the full address of one video. Supported shapes include a YouTube watch link, a Shorts link, or youtu.be. Channel and playlist pages do not identify a single supported video.

Why the service says it is busy

“The service is busy” means a file is already being processed or held for download. This version handles one file at a time. Wait for that processing and download window to finish before retrying. Repeatedly submitting the same link will not create more capacity.

Why the daily trial limit appears

The free trial shares five requests per UTC day across the whole site, not five requests for every visitor. A submitted trial request counts even if processing later fails. Wait for the next UTC day if the limit has been reached. Paid packages are not yet open for purchase; check the current pricing and availability.

Video length and file size limits

The current maximum video length is 10 minutes, and the prepared output cannot exceed 20 MB. A short video can still create a large file. Try a shorter source if the video is outside these limits. The current tool does not provide a file-size or resolution selector.

If the video could not be processed

The source may be unavailable, private, removed, restricted, or incompatible with the processing service. Check that the link opens on YouTube. If it still fails here, try a different supported video or retry later; opening on YouTube does not guarantee this tool can prepare it.

Why a download link expired

“This job has expired or was not found” means the temporary result is no longer available. Prepared files are held for about 15 minutes. Download and keep a local copy during that period. A new preparation request is a new job and uses the applicable trial quota or credit.

Credit and payment issues

Sign in to the Google account used for your purchase to see its balance and recent orders. When paid processing is enabled, successfully prepared files use one credit; failed jobs do not. A prepared file still uses a credit if you miss its download window. A “not enough available credits” message can also mean your remaining credit is reserved for an active job.

If a confirmed payment does not appear, do not pay again immediately. Check your account history and contact support with the order reference.

When to contact support

Email support@ytvideodownloader.cc with the error message, approximate time, and browser you used. For billing issues, include the order reference. Never send payment-card details or your Google password.

Diagnose YT Video Downloader errors by stage

If you find YT Video Downloader not working as expected, start by noting the exact step where the problem appears. An input rejected before submission, a job that cannot start, a processing failure, and a browser transfer that stops halfway are separate situations. The useful next action depends on that stage. Copy the wording of the message before navigating away, and note whether a download link ever appeared. This simple distinction helps you avoid sending another request for a file that was already prepared successfully but was not saved on your device.

If your goal is an ordinary MP4, return to the YouTube to MP4 tool after checking the relevant message. For short-form content, use the Shorts page to review the expected link format. Both pages share the same processing service and allowance. Switching between them cannot clear a busy job, extend an expired result, or reset the trial day. Choose the relevant page for its instructions, not as a way to create another processing slot.

Keep the original YT Video Downloader tab open while waiting for a result. A temporary network interruption can affect the page's ability to read job status even when a request has already been accepted. If the page reports that a request is taking too long, do not assume that repeatedly submitting it is the only option. For paid processing, check the recent job list in the Google account associated with the credit. An active reservation, a released reservation, and a ready file describe different outcomes.

A ready job in the account may still provide a download link while its temporary window is valid. A failed job should return its reserved credit rather than appear as a successful consumption. The account list is therefore useful evidence when the original tab is no longer giving you a clear answer. It is not permanent file storage, and a record of a completed job does not extend the lifetime of its file. Check the job status and link availability together before deciding what to do next.

Check an interrupted browser download

When a prepared MP4 does not appear in the folder you expected, look at the browser's download list first. The transfer may have been canceled, left incomplete, or saved to a different destination. A file that is still downloading is not necessarily broken, and a partial file is not the same as a completed MP4. Allow the browser to report a finished transfer, then try opening the local result. If the temporary link remains available, use it to resolve the saving step before starting a separate preparation.

If the local file still cannot be opened, record the browser and media application involved and describe what you see. An error after a file was saved is different from the service refusing to prepare the source. The current interface does not let you choose a different codec or export preset. Do not rename an incomplete file to force an MP4 extension or assume that this changes its contents. Describe the actual result to support so the investigation starts at the right stage.

Resolve a YT Video Downloader sign-in or account mismatch

A purchase and its processing credits belong to the account used for that purchase, once sales are available. If you have more than one Google account, confirm which email is displayed in the account area. A balance of zero in another account does not show that the original purchase disappeared. Sign out through the site's account controls and sign back in with the intended identity if necessary. Do not send another payment just to test whether a second account will receive credits.

If Google sign-in cannot load, the page should display a sign-in message rather than ask you to enter a Google password into this website. Check that your browser can load the normal sign-in interface and retry from the sign-in page. If the problem persists, contact support with the message and browser details. Never send a Google password, a session cookie, or a complete payment-card number. An order reference and the account email are the appropriate starting points for a billing investigation.
